USING THE CONSOLE

By default the GMod console can be opened by the ~ (Tilda) key found on the upper left-hand side of your keyboard below the Esc key if you have it enabled in the advanced options. You can view props spawned, who connected/disconnected from the server and much more!

BINDING COMMANDS

You can bind anything to any key on your keyboard. Below is a simple guide on how to bind things. You can also bind multiple things using the same bind by adding a semicolon ( ; ). [Example: bind k "kill;say /me got shot by a sniper"]

1. Open the console by pressing he Tilde (~) key

2. Bind a command by typing bind followed by the key and the command[Example: bind i "say Good god"]

UNBINDING COMMANDS/KEYS

1. Open the console by pressing he tilda (~) key

2. Unbind a command by typing unbind followed by the key [Example: unbind i]

BINDING NUMPAD

The numpad is very useful for binding commands as they are out of the way and you won't accidently press one.

Numpad 1 : KP_END

Numpad 2 : KP_DOWNARROW

Numpad 3 : KP_PGDN

USEFUL BINDS

The commands are the most common and can help you in sits.

I will be using what I have my binds set for but they are completely customizable

Noclip: bind v "ulx noclip"

Advert for using @chat: bind semicolon "say /advert Someone causing you problems or need help? Type @ (message) for assistance!"

Remove disconnected players props: bind moyse3 "fpp_cleanup disconnected"

Returning player you are looking at: bind mouse5 "say !return @"

Jail player you are looking at: bind KP_INS "say !jail @"

Unjail player you are looking at: bind KP_END "say !unjail @"

Slay player you are looking at: bind KP_DOWNARROW "say !slay @"

Freeze player you are looking at: bind mouse4 "say !freeze @"

Unfreeze player you are looking at: bind KP_PGDN "say !unfreeze @"

Cloak yourself: bind p "say /cloak"

Uncloak yourself: bind o "say /uncloak"
